Pool & Pool House

As the pool season gets underway, we would like to remind residents of some important rules that need to be followed to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone using the pool facilities. Failure to follow the rules may result in a $100 fine and loss of key card access to facilities.

  • Yearly schedule: Every year pool house will be open on Memorial Day for residents use and closed on Labor Day.
  • Access: Pool use requires gate code access.  Pool access is limited to The Park at Brighton residents who are in good standing with POA dues
  • Pool hours: 8 am to 9 pm Sunday through Thursday and 8 am to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday.
  • No child under the age of 14 may be at the pool or in the hot tub without a person who is at least 18 years of age and is specifically responsible for the child.
  • Guest policies: All guests must be accompanied by a The Park at Brighton resident. Non-residents may not use the facilities without a lot owners/residents.
  • Swim diapers are required for any child who wears diapers or who is not completely potty trained. Since swim diapers do not contain a child who is sick, parents/guardians are asked to keep sick kids out of the pool. An accident in the pool can shut the pool down for several days.

NOTE:  If a fecal accident does occur, please immediately notify the property management company.

  • NO GLASS of any kind is permitted in the pool areas.
  • Water shoes are prohibited.
  • Water balloons are prohibited, as they are a significant safety hazard to young children and may get into and damage the pool equipment.
  • Parents/guardians are asked to monitor their children, helping them to be respectful of POA property and others at the pool and keeping horseplay to a minimum, especially around small children.
  • No pets are allowed in the pool area.
  • Dress code: The POA may have specific rules about what attire is appropriate for the pool area. For example, they may prohibit wearing street clothes or require appropriate swimwear.
  • Safety rules: The POA has safety rules in place, such as requiring children to be supervised by an adult or prohibiting running on the pool deck.
  • Food and drink: The HOA may have restrictions on what food and drinks are allowed in the pool area. For example, they may prohibit glass containers or alcohol.
  • Cleanliness: The POA requires residents to clean up after themselves and their guests, and may prohibit littering or leaving trash in the pool area.
  • Behavior: The POA has rules regarding behavior in the pool area, such as prohibiting loud music or disruptive behavior.

WHEN LEAVING POOL:

  • Please remember to clean up after yourself and/or your family before leaving the pool area.
  • Close and secure the umbrella if you use a table.
  • Take all belongings when leaving, including clothes, goggles, pool toys, etc. Items left at the pool will be put in the lost and found bin, and items left for more than 30 days will be donated or discarded

Thank you for helping to keep the pool in good condition and a pleasant place for all residents to use.
